Terms & Conditions

Supplier
Your contract for the purchase of goods from this web site is between you and Under the Sun of 699/701 Southchurch Road, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. SS1 2PW. England.

Acceptance of your order
We reserve the right to refuse any order submitted.

Payment
Security is probably one of the most important issues when ordering over the internet. For this reason we use RBS WorldPay, part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group for payment processing. Shopping through WorldPay is completely secure, as the information submitted is encrypted and digitally signed. This uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof. We do not see or have access to credit/debit card numbers and they are not stored on our system. In 5 years online trading, we have not come across any case of our customers' card details being used fraudulently.

Payment can also be made by using PayPal; just click on the relevant option at checkout.
We do not accept orders by telephone or by post. Sorry.

Prices
All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order. Errors and omissions excluded.

Availability
We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and a delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods whatsoever.
Should delivery be delayed for more than 28 days you have the right to contact us and refuse to accept the goods. In this case we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

Product Description
Whilst we try to accurately describe and picture our products, you must accept that there will be variations in relation to hand crafted products, be it size, colour, design or other features. Most products are handmade and could have slight marks, blemishes and individual variations; these are not faults but part of their character. All weights given are approximate and may or may not include packaging.

Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and both parties agree to submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Damages & Errors
We will collect and dispatch replacements as soon as possible after we receive notification of damaged or incorrect items (should you want a replacement). Should any item be out of stock you will be given the option of a refund, a replacement product of the same value or the option to wait until the product comes back into stock at which point it will be dispatched immediately.

Unwanted Goods
If for whatever reason you do not wish to keep your goods, please return it unused with its original packaging for a refund. We need to be notified within 7 days of receipt of goods that you wish to return them and a refund will be issued within 30 days. We cannot accept returns after this time.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not refund your costs in sending the product back to us or the original shipping costs in sending the product to you in this instance.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

If You Have A Complaint
In the event that you are unhappy with any aspect of dealing with Purple Sunrise, please inform us as soon as possible, by email, telephone or letter, in order that we can put things right without delay.

By e-mail: customerservices@purplesunrise.com We will send an acknowledgement of your complaint within 2 working days & a full reply to your complaint within 7 days.

By telephone (charged at normal rates): We will send an acknowledgement of your complaint within 5 working days & a full reply to your complaint within 14 days.
